Alyssa Arentoft, PhD is a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist and an Associate Professor at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She runs the ACENT Lab, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses, and is the co-director of the CSUN Clinical Psychology MA program.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Arentoft received her BA in Psychology from NYU in 2005. She obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Neuropsychology, at Fordham University in 2012, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at UCLA in 2014. During her doctoral education, she received her training at NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and Columbia University Medical Center, completed her predoctoral residency at the West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center, and conducted research at NYU Langone Medical Center, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA.
